Revision in LPG cylinder prices
On the first of every month, oil companies release new prices of LPG cylinders, which changes the rates of domestic and commercial gas cylinders.
🔹 Commercial cylinder prices were cut in January 2025.
🔹 Domestic cylinder prices may change from February 1.
🔹 If prices increase, kitchen expenses will increase, and if they decrease, there will be relief.
New rules for UPI transactions
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has decided to implement new rules regarding UPI transactions.
✅ Transaction IDs with special characters will not be accepted from February 1, 2025.
✅ Now only alpha-numeric (mixed letters and numbers) transaction IDs will be valid.
✅ Payment will fail if the wrong transaction ID is entered.
✅ This will make UPI payments more secure and organized.
Maruti Suzuki cars will be expensive
The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has announced an increase in the prices of cars from February 1, 2025.
🔺 The prices of some models will increase by up to ₹ 32,500.
🔺 The cars whose prices will increase include:
✔ Alto K10, S-Presso, Wagon R, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga, Baleno, Grand Vitara and Jimny along with many other models.
🔺 If you are planning to buy a new car, you may have to spend more money.
Changes in banking services
Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced changes in its banking rules and charges from February 1, 2025.
💰 Banking services charges may increase.
💰 The free limit of ATM transactions may be reduced.
💰 The customer may have to pay more charges as per the new fee structure.
If you are a Kotak Bank customer, then additional expenses may increase on your banking transactions.
Air travel will become expensive – Change in ATF prices
New rates of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) are fixed on the first of every month.
✈️ If ATF prices increase, flight tickets will be expensive.
✈️ If oil companies increase prices, the cost of air travel may increase.
✈️ Domestic and international travelers may have to spend more.
