Government may consider increasing the tax exemption limit under Section 80C from ₹ 1.5 lakh to ₹ 2 lakh. This will give more benefits to the taxpayers investing.

    Special relief to senior citizens

    Limit of health insurance premium for senior citizens can be increased to ₹ 1 lakh. Also, discounts on railway tickets and other facilities are also likely to be expanded.

    New schemes for women

    Government may announce special schemes to promote women empowerment. The time limit of ‘Mahila Samman Bachat Yojana’ can be increased, which will give women better savings options.

    Amount expected to increase in PM Kisan Yojana

    To provide financial assistance to farmers, the annual amount of PM Kisan Yojana can be increased from ₹ 6,000 to ₹ 8,000 or ₹ 10,000. This will strengthen the agriculture sector.

    Kisan Credit Card limit will be higher

      The maximum loan limit under Kisan Credit Card (KCC) can be increased to ₹ 5 lakh, so that farmers can get more financial support and they can increase investment in farming.

      There can be big changes in NPS and APY

      New reforms can be made in National Pension Scheme (NPS) and Atal Pension Scheme (APY), so that more and more people can become a part of pension benefits.

      Coverage will increase in health insurance

      While improving the health sector, the government can increase the limit of health insurance premium to ₹ 1 lakh. This will especially benefit senior citizens.
