The maximum temperature in Delhi may be 21 degrees Celsius and the minimum may be 12 degrees Celsius. Fog will increase in Delhi-NCR from Wednesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is being observed as a cyclonic circulation at lower and middle tropospheric levels over western Afghanistan and adjoining areas, the effect of which is likely to affect northwest India from February 8. Due to its effect, sporadic rain and snowfall activity is likely in the western Himalayan region. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh.
Rain is likely in many states on Wednesday. At the same time, fog may prevail in some areas. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, dense fog is likely in different areas of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh.
Temperature will change
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in some parts of the plains of North-West India is between 6-13 degrees Celsius. In Central, East and West India it is 13-20 degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature has fallen by 0-2⁰C in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and increased by 0-2⁰C in many parts of Western Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Maharashtra. The minimum temperatures over Northwest India are likely to rise by about 2-3°C during the next 2 days and fall by 2-3°C during the subsequent 3 days.
