Schools-Colleges Closed in Various Districts of Punjab on January 27, 2025, Following Republic Day Celebrations

CMS College (Punjab): Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Punjab yesterday. On 26 January, i.e. Republic Day, students of schools participate in programs. Due to this, holiday has been declared in schools on 27 January in many districts of Punjab. The districts in which holiday has been declared are as follows.

Jalandhar – Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has declared holiday in all government/private schools and colleges of Jalandhar.

Ludhiana – Ludhiana DC has declared holiday in all schools participating in the Republic Day celebrations.

Amritsar – Holiday has been declared in all schools participating in the Republic Day celebrations.

Tarn Taran – Holiday has been declared in all schools by the Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran.

Nawanshahr – Holiday has been declared in all schools of Nawanshahr.

Rupnagar – The chief guest who reached Rupnagar for the Republic Day celebrations has declared holiday in all schools.

Mohali – Holiday has been declared in all schools in Mohali by the Deputy Commissioner on 27th January.

Fazilka – The Chief Guest who arrived in Fazilka for the Republic Day celebrations has declared holiday in all government/private schools, colleges.

Gurdaspur – Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has declared holiday in all schools.

BATHINDA – Punjab Government Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian has declared holiday on January 27, 2025 for schools that have participated in Republic Day at school level, tehsil level or district level.

Patiala – Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann had yesterday announced holiday on Monday, January 27 for educational institutions (schools-colleges closed) that participated in Republic Day celebrations in Patiala.
