Schools Bandh in Madhya Pradesh 30 January: All private schools in the state will remain closed on Thursday, January 30, in protest against the new educational rules in the state. This decision has been taken by the Private School Association.

The government has made new rules for schools from class 1 to VIII, in which fixed deposit and registered lease have been made mandatory for recognition. School operators demand that these rules should be implemented only on newly opened schools, already running schools should be allowed to operate under the old system.

State Vice President Ramdayal Sharma said that this bandh is being done on the call of State President Ajit Singh. Private schools of the entire state including Mauganj district will participate in this bandh, he clarified that this bandh will be completely peaceful and its purpose is to protect the existence of small schools and to express disagreement with the new policies of the government.
