Rajesh Awasthi Death: A sad news has come out from Chhattisgarh. BJP leader and famous Chhattisgarhi film actor Rajesh Awasthi died at the age of 42. He breathed his last in Raipur, where he died due to heart attack. His untimely demise has caused deep mourning among BJP workers and Chhattisgarhi film industry (Chhaliwood).
He breathed his last in Raipur at around 11:30 pm on Saturday night. His last rites will be performed today at Malwadi crematorium in the capital Raipur. Rajesh Awasthi was a popular actor, producer and director of Chhattisgarh cinema, who gave many memorable films to the industry.
BJP paid tribute
Death of Rajesh Awasthi has also caused a deep loss to the BJP. He was the state convener of the party’s cultural cell and had also held the post of chairman of Chhattisgarh Film Development Corporation. He played an important role in the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign and led many programs to raise awareness in the society.
Chhollywood’s superhit actor Rajesh Awasthi gave many superhit films to the Chhattisgarhi film industry. His popular films include ‘Mayaru Babu’, ‘Maya 2’, ‘Maya De De Maya Le Le’, ‘Parshuram’, ‘Toora Chaiwala’ and ‘Kiriya’. Apart from this, he also played an important role in the web series ‘Anarki’, in which he was seen acting alongside Bollywood actors. His anthology film ‘Lantarni’ was also highly appreciated.
