Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new Honda CB650R and CBR650R in India ahead of the 2025 Auto Expo. The 2025 Honda CB650R is a naked offering, while the CBR650R is a fully-faired sport-touring bike. With the launch of these bikes, bookings have also commenced, and deliveries will start in February 2025. Both bikes will also be showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025.
What’s New in CBR650R?
The updated Honda CB650R has been launched in India ahead of the Auto Expo 2025. Compared to the previous model, it features several updates. The bike retains its neo-retro styling, but the naked offering now includes sharper tank extensions and maintains the same air intake design. The tail section has been given a sharper look. It comes equipped with a new 5-inch TFT display, which provides more data compared to before and now supports Bluetooth connectivity.
Latest Features of Honda CB650R
The updated CB650R is powered by a 649cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 93.8 bhp at 12,000 rpm and a peak torque of 63 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that features an assist and slipper clutch.
The upgraded model includes Showa (SFF-BP) front forks and a rear mono-shock. For braking performance, the front features dual radial-mounted 310 mm floating discs, while the rear has a single 240 mm disc. For added safety, dual-channel ABS has been provided.
The new CB650R comes in two new color options: Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
New 2025 Honda CB650R Price
The new Honda CB650R has been launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of ₹9.20 lakh. Its deliveries will commence in February 2025. The bikes will be sold through Honda’s premium Big Wing dealerships. Along with this, the updated model of the Honda CBR650R has been launched at a price of ₹9.99 lakh. It is available in two new colors: Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
