According to the New York Post report, the jury on Tuesday convicted David Pierce of all charges. This includes the murder of both the women after a drug overdose in 2021 and the rape of seven other women. Based on the evidence presented in the court, it was proved that Pierce called the women to his apartment and gave them cocaine and other drugs, which made them unconscious.
42-year-old David Pierce met Christy (24) and Hilda (26) at a party in 2021. According to reports, he invited both of them to his apartment, claiming to be a big Hollywood celebrity. There, Pierce gave them fentanyl-mixed cocaine and made them unconscious by mixing the drug in their drinks.
“Dead girls don’t talk” – the accused’s horrifying statement
In court, LA prosecutor Katherine Ann Mariano said that Pierce and his partner Michael Ansbach met these girls at a warehouse party in Los Angeles in 2021. After this, they brought them to their apartment. There, Ansbach also fainted under the influence of cocaine, but regained consciousness after some time.
When Ansbach asked Pierce to call 911 (emergency number) after regaining consciousness, Pierce refused and said, “Dead girls don’t talk”.
Bodies of women were kept in the car and thrown on the road
According to the prosecution, when Ansbach left, Pierce and his roommate Brandt Osborn kept the bodies of both the women in their car and threw them on the roadside.
Other women also accused of rape
After this incident, seven more victims came forward in the year 2021-22 and told that David Pierce trapped them in his trap by promising roles in Hollywood films. After this, he also raped them by giving them drugs.
Declared a “serial rapist”, life imprisonment possible
The prosecution has described Pierce as “a calculating serial rapist”. He can be sentenced to 128 years to life imprisonment without parole. Apart from this, Brandt Osborn, who helped him, is also facing trial.
