Good News for Haryana temporary employees, HC gives this big decision

Good news has come for the contractual temporary employees in Haryana. The High Court has given a decision to make the contractual employees permanent. In which it has been said that all the employees will be regularized within 6 months under the policy of 2003 and 2011. However, the High Court has also clarified that no employee will be regularized under the policy of 1996.

Many employees had filed a petition in HC

Let us tell you that thousands of contractual employees are working in various departments of Haryana Government. Who had filed a petition in the High Court demanding regularization. In these petitions, those working on contract, part-time or temporary basis for decades were demanded to be regularized under the policies of 1996, 2003 and 2011. On this, the High Court has now given its decision and said that all the employees appointed under the prescribed procedure should be regularized within 6 months as per the policy of 2003 and 2011.

The High Court clarified

The High Court order also states that if an employee is eligible as per these policies, he will get the outstanding salary from the date of filing the petition in the court. But no interest will be paid on this. Apart from this, if an employee has already retired, then his pension and other financial benefits will also be re-determined. The High Court has also clarified in its decision that the employees regularized under the 2014 policy will not get any benefit under any policy. At the same time, instructions have been given to consider those employees who will not be eligible under the 2003 and 2011 policy under the new Act implemented in 2024.
