Game of land grabbing on salary basis in Gurgaon, administration started strict action

Gurgaon: The game of illegal occupation of government land and green belt is now going on on salary basis. People from outside districts and states are making it a source of personal income by occupying government land. This was revealed by the nodal officer of Anti Encroachment Drive, R.S. Bath.

Game of land grabbing by setting up restaurants and nurseries

During the action of removing encroachment on SPR Road, it came to light that people from Delhi and nearby areas had started restaurants, nurseries and other businesses on green belt and government land. During investigation, it was found that the encroachers are working only on salary, while the real conspirators are behind the scenes.

160 acres of land freed so far

According to R.S. Bath, in the recent action, about 160 acres of government land has been freed from encroachment. Earlier, nomads had also camped here, but after the strictness of the administration, they have left the place.

Green belt development will gain momentum

City’s green belt was not being developed due to encroachment. Now the organizations with which the agreement was made for green belt development have started the work again.

Effect will be seen in the next 5 months
The district administration has adopted a strict attitude against encroachment and has intensified the campaign to remove it in coordination with all the departments. The nodal officer says that in the next five months its effect will be clearly visible in the entire city and Gurgaon will be made encroachment free.
