Breaking: A news from Gurugram on Thursday shook the entire country including the sports world. 25-year-old emerging tennis player Radhika Yadav was murdered by her own father. On Thursday at around 12 noon in Sector 57 of Gurugram, Radhika’s father fired five bullets one after the other, out of which three hit Radhika directly. After being shot, she was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital, but the doctors declared her dead.
Hatred came out from the revolver
When the police reached the spot, Radhika’s father was arrested from the spot. The revolver used in the murder has also been recovered by the police. Initial investigation has revealed that the father was angry with Radhika’s habit of making reels on social media. It is being told that there was a dispute going on in the house for a long time regarding this matter. On the day of the incident, there was an argument on the same issue and in anger, the father took out a revolver and shot the daughter.
She had a strong identity in the tennis world
Radhika Yadav was not an ordinary girl. She had participated in national and international tennis tournaments, such as ITF and WTA. Her career best ITF ranking was 1638. Her passion and dedication towards the game was visible since childhood, and this was the reason that she proved herself as a talented player even at a very young age.
