Baghpat Laddu Mahotsav Accident: A major accident occurred during the Nirvana Laddu Mahotsav of Lord Adinath organized in Baraut city of Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. During a religious event in the Manastambh complex, a wooden pad fell and more than 50 devotees were buried under it. Due to the accident, there was a stampede in the entire program, which made the atmosphere even more scary.
Auto rickshaw support for the injured
Auto rickshaws were used instead of ambulances to immediately take the injured to the hospital. Many Jain devotees have been seriously injured in the accident. On hearing the news of the incident, the administration came into action and relief and rescue work was started on the spot.
Promptness of police and administration
The inspector and police force of Baraut Kotwali reached the spot and tried to handle the situation. Senior police and urban administration officials are present on the spot and investigation into the causes of the incident has been started.

However, no deaths have been confirmed so far. Rescue operations are underway and efforts are being made to restore normalcy at the site.
