A 21-year-old Indian student has died after being shot in Canada. She was waiting at a bus stop to go to work when a car rider opened fire. Harsimrat Randhawa was a student of Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. Hamilton police are investigating the murder that took place on Wednesday. They say that Randhawa was an innocent. The Consulate General of India in Toronto said in a post on Friday, ‘We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Indian student Harsimrat Randhawa in Hamilton, Ontario.’
