Chandigarh. Haryana government has declared four days local holiday in the schools of the state during the new education session. In the order issued, four days local holiday has been declared in the government schools of Haryana. The Directorate of School Education has issued an official letter in this regard.
This holiday will be applicable for students and teachers. The Directorate of School Education has issued an official letter in this regard on Friday and has given necessary instructions to all the District Education Officers and District Basic Education Officers of the state.

According to the Directorate, there will be holiday in the schools of the state on the occasion of Good Friday on April 18, Buddha Purnima on May 12, Karva Chauth on October 10 and Guru Teg Bahadur Martyrdom Day on November 25. Apart from these holidays, there will be holiday in the schools on Sundays and other official holidays as well.
These are the holidays
April 18 – Good Friday.
May 12 – Buddha Purnima.
October 10 – Karva Chauth.
25 November- Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day.
