Central Government Employees Salary Hike: Union Cabinet has recently approved the 8th Pay Commission, due to which a big increase is expected in the salary of central employees. This amendment will affect employees from level 1 to level 10. Let us know how the salary scale will increase:
8th Pay Commission: Central Government Employees Salary Hike level 1 to 10-
Level 1: Peon, attendant, assistant staff – Basic salary will increase from 18,000 to 51,480 rupees, i.e. an increase of Rs 33,480.
Level 2: Lower Division Clerk – Basic salary will increase from 19,900 to 56,914 rupees, i.e. an increase of Rs 37,014.
Level 3: Constable, Police Staff – Basic salary will increase from Rs 21,700 to Rs 62,062, an increase of Rs 40,362.
Level 4: Stenographer, Junior Clerk – Salary will increase from Rs 25,500 to Rs 72,930, an increase of Rs 47,430.
Level 5: Senior Clerk, Higher Technical Staff – Salary may increase from Rs 29,200 to Rs 83,512, an increase of Rs 54,312.
Level 6: Inspector, Sub Inspector – Salary will increase from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,01,244, an increase of Rs 65,844.
Level 7: Superintendent, Section Officer, Assistant Engineer – Salary may increase from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,28,414, an increase of Rs 83,514.
Level 8: Senior Section Officer, Assistant Audit Officer – Salary will increase from Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,36,136, an increase of Rs 88,536.
Level 9: Deputy Superintendent of Police, Accounts Officer – Salary may increase from Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,51,866, an increase of Rs 98,766.
Level 10: Group A Officer – Salary will increase from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,60,446, an increase of Rs 1,04,346.
This salary hike is expected to improve the standard of living of the employees, and will be implemented based on the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission.
