Haryana School Closed: On the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda hoisted the tricolor in Jind and greeted the people of the state. During the ceremony, the Education Minister announced that all schools in the state will be closed on January 27.
CMS College (Chandigarh). The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Haryana today. Chief Minister Nayab Saini hoisted the flag in Rewari, where he hoisted the tricolor for the first time. In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned Haryana’s contribution to the freedom movement and called it a matter of pride. He said that the first spark of the freedom movement arose from Ambala in Haryana, and keeping in mind this glorious history, the government has increased the pension of freedom fighters to Rs 40,000 per month.
The families of the martyrs will get Rs 1 crore
On this occasion, Chief Minister Naib Saini said that his government has doubled the honorarium given to the martyrs to Rs 1 crore. Along with this, a decision has been taken to empower the youth by giving 10% reservation in Agniveer recruitment. Keeping the interests of the farmers paramount, the government is buying 24 crops at the minimum support price (MSP), due to which the farmers of the state are getting benefited.
Education Minister hoisted the flag in Jind
On the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda hoisted the tricolor in Jind and greeted the people of the state. Expressing his commitment towards the development of Haryana, he called upon the people to work together. During the ceremony, the Education Minister announced that there will be a holiday in all the schools of the state on January 27.
