According to our Mumbai correspondent, the attack on Saif Ali Khan occurred around 2 AM on Thursday night. A burglar broke into his house and stabbed the actor six times with a knife, causing multiple injuries. One of the injuries is near his spine. Reports indicate that Saif Ali Khan is undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital and is currently out of danger.
The Bandra police stated that the attacker fled the scene immediately after committing the crime. A special team has been formed to apprehend the suspect, and efforts are underway to track him down.
Health Update from Lilavati Hospital
According to Hindustan Times, Lilavati Hospital’s Chief Operating Officer, Neeraj Uttamani, stated that Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital around 3:30 AM after sustaining deep injuries at two locations on his body. A team comprising neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi is performing surgery on the actor.
