School Holidays Extended in Ambala and Kurukshetra for 2 Days

In response to the biting cold, schools in Ambala and Kurukshetra districts of Haryana will remain closed for an additional two days. While winter holidays had previously been declared by the education department until January 15, the administration has decided to extend the holidays further due to the severe cold.

Online Classes in Some Schools
Meanwhile, several schools in Sonipat have opted to hold online classes. Parents have been informed about this arrangement through messages. However, the education department has not issued any new directives regarding school holidays. Officials clarified that the earlier orders remain in effect, allowing District Commissioners (DCs) in severely cold areas to decide independently on extending or resuming physical classes in their districts.
