Ujjain Privates Schools closed 30 January: In Madhya Pradesh, around 28 thousand private school operators will be on strike on Thursday. 4 different organizations related to private schools of the state have called for a strike, due to which private schools across the state will remain closed.
More than 450 private schools of Ujjain have agreed to join the strike. Madhya Pradesh Private School Association, Madhya Pradesh Operator Forum, Government School Organization, Madhya Pradesh School Welfare Forum, Private School Association along with Ujjain’s divisional and government school organization and non-government school representative organization have called for a one-day school shutdown on Thursday, January 30.
The head of the organization in Ujjain, SN Sharma, said that the new recognition policy of the Madhya Pradesh government is putting the existence of those small private schools in danger which try to provide quality education even with limited resources. If this policy is implemented, many small schools will come on the verge of closure, due to which a one-day strike is being held with major demands from the state government. - the registered rent deed should be cancelled and the notarized rent deed should be accepted as before.
- there should be a ban on taking security fund of Rs 40,000 for recognition
- The amount of RTE free education should be given on time
- The arbitrary increase in recognition fee should be stopped
